Missed my call from The Duck !!!

Just returned home to find a message on my machine from OCCU regarding my app from Wednesday for the Duck Card.

Got the 7-10 day message when i applied and am hoping this is the verification call I have heard so much about meanining I may have been approved.

Unfortunately when I called back the number they left, I was told they are only available in that dept. until 5:30 EST

Guess I will have to wait until Monday unless someone knows a weekend/backdoor number that can be called???

Seems to speed the process up if the day after you apply you call in and do the 2 or 3 security questions which consisted of telling them 2 other credit cards on credit report. Then app proceeds!

i GOT THE 7-10 day message two weeks later i received a credit report, today I got my card!

Unfortunately, there's no "weekend" backdoor number.  Just wait until Monday to call them back.

You have a home machine still? Why didn't you just list your cell #? Lol!!! Good luck either way! Hope it all works out

Wait till Monday, they will tell you if they still need more time, or if you got approved or not. They will also be able to tell you the limit you got approved for, if you got approved! They are so nice, they just close really really early lol. Goodluck though, and hopefully they approve you!!

The main reason I still have the machine (home phone) is I do not give my cell to card issuers or other businesses. Don't need a bunch of telemarketer sales pitches on my cell all day.
