More than one Amex in less than 2 months?

Anybody get an Amex approval for another card after two months? I have a BCE that was opened up about 60 days ago. I have not requested the 61 day CLI. I am considering another card. My scores are in the low 700's and I have a ton of Inq's. Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation.

I was approved for a BCE in Feb, ED in May and a SPG in May.

request the 61 day CLI and then go in and apply for the 2nd card you want.

Got my BCE in May and Amex has been soliciting me for a PRG reciently, I never got an offer from them before. My guess is they would have no issues.

I recently did exactly this...

Opened my "first" AmEx (BCE, 5.9k limit, backdated to MS '93 from an older AU account) on April 2 of this year.

On June 6, tried online for my 61 day CLI - got the full 3x.

Was wanting other AmEx's for additional backdating and Member Rewards versus CashBack, so I app'd for:

1. AmEx PRG

2. AmEx Everyday Preferred

Got both instantly, 15k starting limit on the EDP.

What other card are you looking to obtain? That would be a factor. Charge cards are less income dependent, so your chances for approval for that would be high. What is your current BCE limit?

Amex doesn't tend to be too inquiry sensitive, unless they need a reason to be.

I got approved for 4 cards in 5 months. 2 of the cards were in 4-5 days apart and the others were in both 3 months later. Also, at the time, my FICO scores were around high 770 - 790s. So before you even think about it, look at your FICO scores.

Hello there you seem to have quite a bit of credit accounts so I would like your input. I recently just applied for some credit cards and got approved for all of them. I applied for 12 to be exact which is a total of 21 when added to my other cards. I plan on gardening until 2016 until my inquiries fall off...would you recommend that? thanks
