Moving CLs between AMEX accounts

Is there an option in the AMEX account management section to move around credit lines?  Can't seem to find a link to do this. 

When does it show up in my account?

I'm still looking at pros and cons whether to transfer from my seldom used BCE to BC or wait for a 3X CLI in two months.

Just curious has anyone ever had 4506t request after moving limits? Plan to request 181 day cli on Delta to $20k, app Everyday then move almost all Delta limit to it after my 13th statement and close Delta.

I recently called in and had my CL moved from one account to another. It took a couple hours because the initial rep messed up, but underwriting managed to straighten it out. So, if it isn't working online you can do it over the phone as well.

STRANGE.  I went to the link above and was given the option to move balances between accounts.  But none of my accounts has reached the 13the statement.  Does this mean I need to wait?

I haven't factored in the possibility of account review when moving balances.

The link doesn't invoke any checks, I don't know what happens if you try something that doesn't meet the criteria.  Do you want to try!

Yeah your donor card has to have 13 statements posted minimum. I've never heard of an acct review or tax request to move limits. That's why I asked does it happen.

I haven't heard of it either.   It would be strange as there is no added risk (unlike a CLI) BUT they do ask your income when you ask for a transfer, so I guess it could happen if they feel the need to verify income.

I've seen reports of transfers being denied, even when all the criteria were met, but hard to know how accurate the details really were.
