Moving Chase limits

So the Slate card has served it's purpose and I would like to transfer the CL to my Sapphire or Freedom card which I have balances on.........I have a lot of new credit over the past year  and tons of inquiries ........I have seen a few posts where Chase has taken AA when folks continue opening accounts.....I have a lot of Chase cards including IHG 12k, Marriott 7k, AARP 6k, Freedom (2cards) 2k and 2.5k,  Sapphire 5k, Amazon Visa, and Slate 3.5k, HELOC just paid off.  Over the past few mos I have a new HELOC for 50k, bal 7k, just approved for NASA 20k................Do I need to wait before I ask for the CL transfer or is this an internal thing with Chase.  Don't want to rock the boat, I've managed to dig out of a divorce and recover my credit over the past 18 mos.    My scores EQ 727, EX 741, TU 738, salary 150k. ......50 inq on EQ, 38 on Ex, 7 on TU

You can do a CL reallocation at any time. Just send them a secure message.

For some reason when I re-allocated they made me keep 1k on the Slate. Let us know what your outcome is.

I had to keep $500 on my Freedom when I moved it to Slate.

I sent a SM and moved the limit from Freedom to CSP ,but for whatever reason, they kept $500 on Freedom , so I just closed Freedom.

They need 500 to keep the card open. They won't do a reallocation without keeping 500 on that card even if you are closing it directly after.
