Moving Entire Balance to 0% Card; Needs Advice

I have good FICO scores 740 -  760 range but I have a large balance I'm paying interest on.  I'm going to move it to a 0% APR deal for 12 months.  My question is, is there a way to minimize the risk of my old card(the card I'm moving the balance from) having a CLD?

I don't want my old card to "retaliate" on me for moving my balance and have a CLD, which would hurt utilization %.

The old card is with BOA.

Any thoughts?

I can't say for sure that they won't CLD you, but I just moved a lage sum from BofA to CCCU and they did not CLD me. Hope that gives you hope!

thanks that gives me hope...who is CCCU?  Do you keep your BOA active with a small charge every month?

urgent,

Yes always charge to stay active. But pay in full now. CCCU=Christian Community Credit Union.

Good luck!
