Moving credit limits with cap one

Does capital one allow you to do this? I have a cap one journey card with a 2750 limit and a cap one quicksilver with a 3000 limit and would like to raise the cap one to 5000 and leave the journey at 750 since the quicksilver has the better rewards. is this possible?

Re: Moving credit limits with cap one

I've heard that Cap1 doesn't let you move limits, but I've never tried myself. Never hurts to try EO. I would reach out over facebook, they responded to my request (PC platinum that hadn't been used since '09 to QS) within 15-20 minutes and called me the next business day. I was pretty impressed with the speed.

Re: Moving credit limits with cap one

I had 2 capital one accounts and they would not budge on combining the limits.  I even threatened to close the accounts (which I did ultimately after refusing to pay an annual fee) and still no success.

AFAIK , no they don't - not all lenders do this in fact I only know of BOA and Chase that does this.

They don't. I've tried as far as the EO to get them to combine my limits and they wouldn't budge.
