My Amex 180 Day Cli. Tomorrow or after??

Hello fellow ficoers. I beleive my day is finally here. im not sure. but maybe some of you can chime in as i dont want to jump the gun and get the dreaded too early response.

I got my Delta Gold on october 6-2014. $3500 SL. Then on December 8th. i went for the 61 days 3x cli. Approved. to $10.500.

Nw if my math is correct. although that was Dec 8th. tomorrow should be my day. not exactly sure if it is 180 days or 181 days that i should pull the trigger. to many different responses from other threads.

Please help with the math. as i will show what im thinking below.

December 8thuntil the  new year.

23 days.

jan-31days. feb 28 days. march 31 days. april 30 days. may 31 days. june 6th is 6 days.

23 dec

31 jan

28 feb

31 mar

30 apr

31 may

6 jun

180 days. so is it tomorrow or sunday?. please someone help. I will go for the full 25k. not a cent more as i don't want to be raked under the coals financially. Thanks all.

If my math is right, it should be on 06/07.

12/8-1/8:31

1/8-2/8:31

2/8-3/8:28

3/8-4/8:31

Total 181 days

Usually I count 25 weeks and 6 days; it's easier for me that way.

But isn't 25k also trigger income verification?

Thanks for the feedback. this is where all the debate comes in. is it 180 or 181 days. if it is 180 tomorrow. if 181. june 7th. like you said. but i think i will go with what you say and wait until sunday. the 25k is the max without the verification. long as not 1 dollar over. But i could play it safe and do like my brother. he asked for 24900. hehehe

Correct, the 7th if going 181 days. Could wait the full six months just to be safe. Mine was Dec 22nd on BCE, want to raise SimplyCash next.

I know amex them selves say 180 days. but i will wait until the 7th to play it safe. since ive already waiting this long. Since my limit is currently at 10.500. i think will just ask to bring it to 24.500. somewhat round number.

Err on the side of caution and waiting a bit longer. There's no huge hurry and you don't want to cut it too close and end up denied.

Thanks kd. thats why i will wait until sunday. there is no doubt then.

I currently have about a $200 balance on my delta and no balance on my Green. so ive been so babying amex. Last month paid down 2k balance to $200. so im good that way. I will be traveling to asia later in the year for about 6 weeks and just want lots of available credit for my travels. only live once.

Good luck on the 3x cli. I was scurred and low balled at 23k earlier this week.

Hehehe i have no fear. I really want to go for the full 25k. But will use caution and stop at 24.5.

Even if it's not tomorrow, you can try an infinite amount of times, and if  the denial reson is for being too soon, it will have no effect

A few weeks ago, my 180 days was sometime during a span of 7 days, and I attempted every day, multiple times per day until it worked.

Unfortunatley, AMEX sent me a pile of envelopes, which I feel bad about now

Also, I attempted a 50k CLI, and was returned with being asked for my tax info. I tried again at 45k and got tax info. Finally, after I lowered to 32k, it was instantly approved.
