I don't think it's how many cards you have, it's how your UTIL and AAoA is....I know OP who have 20 CCs, all have low UTIL % reporting and their Fico is above 760. My .02.

Lol I know, but recently I stopped carrying the Macy's card unless I plan on going to the mall or something. I mainly use it because it seems like the more I use their card, as opposed to my Chase card, the more coupons I get.

On a side note...went by the Guess store today and picked up a new wallet, used the amex card for the first time, and now have enough room for Macy's to rejoin its friends.
