Can you use the free nights at any Hyatt? Are there category restrictions like on the Marriott Card? I know the Hyatt in Shinjuku Tokyo is around $400-$500 a night.  Seems like a great deal if you can use them anywhere!

Yup! You can use the 2 free nights at any Hyatt. However, the annual free night you get can only be used at category 1-4 hotels.

Re: My Hyatt card came today!

Wow that's unreal! I was planning on a trip to Japan sometime in early '14 and now I'm going to have to get this card. Too bad I just got the Marriott Premier. I now have their Freedom and Marriott Card. I hope they don't turn me down when I apply sometime this December. It would be my third card from them within 6 months.
