So after my last thread I decided to pull the trigger and get the walmart store card. I got it for the gas discount and the typical 0% on purchases over 299-499. Even tho my app said it was for the discover when I called and talked to the CSR she said it came thru as a store card app which she said was weird. Since that only works at walmart I decided to go for a 0% transfer card and appd for a chase slate card. When I called in I was shocked to hear that my CL was $400 woo hoo big spender, Well I called their credit line and told them that was not going to work for me that I had more balances to transfer than that. After a few mins on hold the CSR came back with a 5K bump
Before this I only had 1 credit card with a 1200 limit and 2 store cards(Macy's and saks).
My question is should I go ahead and get a target store card or should I not push my luck?. My reasoning is my wifey works for target and if I have a red card we get 15% off everything in the store if I use cash its only 10% and if its any other card its not discount

Go ahead if you don't plan to purchase anything soon.
Good Luck.

You can get the debit version of the Redcard and still get the 5% off. It just debits your checking account when you swipe it. This way you can avoid another new accont and HP
