My app spree success.

Hello.  My name is Sarah.  I recently joied the forum, but have been a long time lurker.  I wanted to share the successes I have had this month.  Prior to my app spree, I have been reading and reading in order to be ready for the "Spree"///when I felt ready, I pulled the trigger.  This is how it ended.  Thanks so all for the information and help, I have learned so much!

Wow - I don't think I have had that many credit cards over my entire life and I'm 52.

Just be carefull. Even with low limits the easy monthly payments can bury a person pretty quickly.

Wow! For one app spree, that's sure a lot of applications (and approvals)! Grats! Hopefully after a while they'll give you more than toy limits for cards - I personally hate having a bunch of lower-limit cards, since you can't really use them for much.

Take it this way. In 12 months, all those inqs will not factor in your FICO score. In 24 months, they will all disappear. In 12 months, you would have built a solid relationship with those creditors and from what I hear, the GE cards are very generous (Wal Mart et al).

 

I think in 1 year you would recover from the loss in AAoA. and FICO points assuming low util and no more apping.
