My application spree, should i cut it.

i have applied for the following cards.

AMEX DElta skymiles approved 2500- my biggest aim was to get in with AMEX-experian

CSP declined, called Recon line still declines due to inquiries and $5000 major bank card-equifax, my lowest

Discover more, approved for $6000-transunion

 

the only other card i want to do tonight based on your advice is AMEX BCE and a City prime card

 

What are your gut feelings? stop it or try these more.

 

AAOA is 4. yrs and 3 months. longest card 7 yrs and 8 months.

transunion fico 702, equifax 652 fico and experian 678 fako.

 

inquiries is almost 6 accross all 3

Current Score: Trans union fico 713 (myfico 11/1/2012), EQ fico 671, exp 666 by AMEX
Goal Score: 720 across

In my wallet: GE/walmart at $10500, 2 capital ones at $750 each, Elan financial at $400, Amex BCP-$1000, AMEX Gold Delta at $2500, Discover more at $6,000 and Chase freedom at $3000

Well, i went ahead and applied Chase freedom. Instant approval and cl is 3000.

I hope i can go the garden now.

Garden is good. Where is the low cost card to be used when cash is tight?

you can get that csp once the discover reports and some inquiries fall off. congrats though!

The garden is fun, I always find I get the highest CLIs while in the garden.  Plus as your accounts age you will begin to be tempted by banks shoving pre-approvals in your face every day at your mailbox. Smiley Happy

I will assume you have GE/Walmart in mind. i have it at $10,500

I am off to the Garden for the next year.

i still have amex BCP pending because of the duplicate apps.
