Discover It -Student....denied  but offered her a Secured Verision

UGH. I was really hoping that she will get at least one. Already call  Cap One but they said she needs to wait until she gets the letter to call for a recon.

Does she have any history? The discover secured wouldnt be bad to get her started. Also another idea you could add her as an AU to help a little.

She just graduate from High School so i added her to my CC as Joint which gave her a 13 month history. No lates and CL $1,000.00. I may have her go with the Discover Secured card. Just very frustrating and trying to get her a solid foundation to build upon at a early age.

Absolutely have her get the Discover secured.   Get 6 months of history and try other CCs.

It created a file. Her myFico is 638  She was told to wait for the letter to recon

Waiting for the letter to get the reason because she has called them twice and they keep telling her to wait for the letter. Then she will recon

Have you also tried the Discover it for Students ? Citi als has a Thank you card for students so those might be easier ?
