My first day CC Debt Free

All the checks have been written and transfers made.

For the first time in my adult life, I am 100% credit card debt free.  1 year ahead of schedule.  It is a very liberating feeling.

Thank you to this board.  I learned a lot of valuable things!!

Congrats!!

Don't be surprised if you feel a little confused for a while at certain times of the month...at first, you'll feel the urge to write out checks or make online payments, and then there'll be this "lost" feeling, 'cause you won't know what to do with all that money you used to send off...Smiley Happy

It's a nice problem to have.

Easy solution...SAVE IT (or at least part of it) for an emergency fund each month. That way, if something unexpected comes up, you may not have to "hit the cards" to cover it.

Congrats!

Hard work & patience can go a long way!
