Re: My reports being frozen are a little annoying when I want to Sync!

Sorry to hear that happened to you. TU is such a pain for me to freeze/thaw as their website never will allow me to do it so I have to call in.

The $10 fee is ridiculous. We should be able to freeze/thaw at will without all this hassle.

Scores 01/04/2017: EQ 719, TU 750, EX 716
Goal scores: 740 across the board

Can I ask, since you seem to be into credit cards as a hobby - why you would lock access to your TU, EX, EQ? It seems you would want the creditors to be able to SP your reports to offer your CLIs or PreQual offers? Am i missing something here?

EDIT: Oh wait, I see you were supposedly "in the garden" got it.

Have a great day!

I would agree OP, just causing headache for yourself.

If you're truly in the garden, then freeze your reports and stop worrying about credit for awhile. If not, no point in freezing them!

Store card Arrived with $837 limit which is cute since I closed a $10k limit store card a day before applying for MC.

Creditors do not simply match limits.  You cannot assume that having a card with a limit of $X means that all subsequent cards should have the same or similar limit.  Your credit profile and income are assessed at time of application and used to determine the limit that you qualify for.

and they pulled a 702 TU which is WAY in MC area for Sync... I just don't get it!

It's never just about score.

OF COURSE you can't think you have an Amex for $5k, Capital One is going to give you $5k too... I had a Sams Store Card with $10k, this new card is a Sams Store Card also... I would bet money that if I unlocked TU and called back credit solutions this new cards would have $10k or MORE

Yawn, no kidding... however usually 690-700 will get you any of the MC/Visa with Sync and I was approved the Walmart MC minutes before this Sams card... that's all... sync computers are funny things. I'm at near $100k exposure with Sync... this isn't my first rodeo with them!
