That 5 points is the result of the HP by Discover and when the TL reports you'll probably see another scoring ding...sorry just being honest and thought you should know.
DIscover usually takes 30-45 days to report YMMV

In some cases once a new TL reports you see a scoring increase lets hope your one of those

Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
