Mysterious Amex Merchant Credit

Today I received an e-mail stating that American Express has credited my Green card $25. Has anyone received this type of credit before? I've synced my card to Facebook and Twitter but claimed all available credits. I wanted to know before I called CS. Thanks

Why call about a $25 credit?  If it sticks, great.  If not, it's $25.  Let it be.

I also got this same credit today, on my ACM's BCP.  Very strange indeed.  I have a total of five cards associated with my account:

Clear

Clear ACM

Blue Cash Preferred

Blue Cash Preferred ACM

Zync

I registered all five cards for Small Business Saturday and made a single qualifying $25+ purchase on my Zync.  Within a few days, I got the $25 Shop Small credit on my Zync.  The ACM cards did not have any qualifying spend on Small Business Saturday (which, of course, was a couple months ago) and sure enough, today, the ACM BCP got a $25 Shop Small credit.  Idunno what triggered it, but I won't complain!

I also received this credit today. While I did register my cards, I neglected to shop so was not expecting the credit. Like someone said earlier, if it sticks, fine (and thanks!)....if not, fine.
