app'ed for credit card platinum and asked for max $30k.. they countered to $15k i accepted. Sent in a few docs; 2 paystubs, copy of ID, etc. pulled EX with 10+ recent inq's.
Strong income to support a 15k limit? Just curious as to how generous this cu is. It seems to be the one everyone wants in on right now...
I would be interested as well. I am also a member of Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) and have a nRewards CC with them with a 2K credit limit (CL) and about %47 utilization (uti) and a NavChek overdraft with a 5K CL with 0% uti. My score is on the low side, but I'm working on improving it, especially after my bankruptcy (BK) back in 2012. But I was really hoping for some of the higher CLs that I've been hearing about from NFCU with my 61K salary. But, I am still really greatful that they gave me a shot anyway, as the nRewards is my highest limit card and I want to get rid of my Credit One Bank card with a $500 CL before the annual fee (AF) kicks in next month. So if NASA also has high limits on their cards, this might be the way to go.
Income for $15k counteroffer is at $100k range.. also membership approval was a long process.. after uploading all required docs through secured messaging center for membership (you have to have membership approval to receive card) they then asked me to resend all docs notarized (IDs) citing that they could not verify my info even with copies of ID's and paystubs and utility bill.
Im thinking I have to pull my ARS and ID Analytics files and freeze those as its causing issues with verification most likely..
Anyone know how nasa is on cli?soft or hard?
For me, I apped with them a few weeks back for their CC and was denied because of my BK was too new?!?! My discharge was back in 3/2011.
9 util, 4 CC's current and two auto loans. no baddies since discharge.
Strange...
