Just checked my credit and Navy Federal did pull a report from my Transunion.Not thrilled about that but at least the inquirie was on the credit bureau with only two previous inquiries for the last two years. No harm no foul thus far.

And they are going to pull again as soon as you apply for a CC. I apped only a few days after joining and they pulled. NFCU is a great CU but you have to be willing to deal with HP's.

Hi - I too am a new member as of 12/27 ! I'm super excited because I've heard so many awesome things about them. Im in the high 500's as far as my score and I was super nervous to even apply but I bit the bullet and called and it was music to my ears when the incredibly polite rep said "you're approved for a savings/checking" ! I was driving and had to pull over I was so shocked, lol. I want to apply for one of their cc's - I hear they're friendly to rebuilding but I don't want to app too soon and mess up my chances in the future. Any one have any experience with apping with them with not so favorable scores ?

They HP TU to join and EQ for app's. Sometimes both, and of course YMMV.

Wow that would be so great if they only pulled Transunion on me. My inquiries for the last 12 months are EX(2),EQ(5), & TU(2).But my Equifax has 8 inquiries for the last 2 years.
