Although the video games, etc...
I can't use that excuse. My 3% category is shipping.
Well what are you waiting for

3% Back:For every dollar in eligible net purchases (merchandise purchased minus returns and adjustments) ("Purchases"), rounded to the nearest hundredth, charged to your Card for Purchases of dining, select entertainment and for Marvel Online and Convention Purchases. Select entertainment categories include Movie Theatres, Video Rental and Game Stores, Theatrical and Concert Promoters, Amusement Parks, Digital Entertainment, Games and Software, Music, Books and Newsstands, Toys and Hobby Stores. See below for details regarding the definition of each category. Eligible Purchases of dining and select entertainment will be determined by the merchant category code (the "MCC") associated with the merchant. An MCC is a four-digit classification code that is assigned to a merchant by the merchant's payment card network or merchant processor based on the predominant business activity of the merchant. The merchant's MCC will determine whether a Purchase qualifies for the 3% cash back reward. For example, a dining purchase at the café area of a grocery store may have a MCC identification as a type of merchant other than a restaurant and therefore would not qualify as a dining purchase under these Terms. Neither Marvel nor Synchrony Bank assigns or has responsibility for the assignment of MCCs or evaluates what MCC should be assigned to a particular merchant.
OK, I know there are people here struggling with staying away from this one - and I hate to add to the temptation to app - but I'm genuinely curious if Amazon would qualify as 'Books' for the purposes of this card. If it does, this card would be as good as the Chase Amazon Visa for Amazon purchases.
I suspect I'm 'grasping' here (especially since nobody else has brought this up yet), but for the folks who have been approved for the card it might be worth looking into further.
I was wondering the same thing, because Amazon codes as a bookstore right?
I also missed the section that says "Toys and Hobby Stores"...this really is a decent card
Very nice card designs, good rewards program While exciting, I would most likely not app for the card, mostly due to the APR tiers, which are a lil higher than my comfort zone.
Lol, I also wish DC would take some notes here...it would be pretty awesome in mho to be able to have a Superman-themed card, similar to the Captain America Marvel design except with Superman's S-shield logo for example, or a Batman design, Wonder Woman, etc.
Apped for Blispay last week, FAIL!
Itch, itch. Scratch, scratch.
Looks like I am going to , oh no, finger twitchin.
Since it also includes Theme Parks does anyone know how that particular item might compare to Chase Disney?
Any advantages?

Well Disney with an AF gives 2% on grocery and gas and Disney stuff....also park perks you can get with the free debit card SOOOOO 3% on food, theme parks is a dream...and you can go over to Universal and get the same 3% - that is the reason I got this Marvel card...WIN WIN.....
Thanks for pointing out those comparisons between the two.
Synchrony really pulled a rabbit out the hat with this new one.
Who knew?
