Was it another HP?

You have to join first whether applying online or over the phone. My account was set up in minutes and I was able to apply for a credit card immediately.
+ 1 from everything I've read.

I applied for membership online (1 HP/TU I think), called the next day to see if I was accepted, yes, applied for cashRewards with CSR, instant approval (1HP/EQ), applied for FlagshipVisa, 3-5 day message (1HP/EQ) Denial message received, recon, denied...After all that I ended up with 2 HP 2 SP EQ and 1 HP and 1 SP TU.
I suggest you apply for everything in one day.

@brcamacho, my cc was in the mail today!!! So for me, it was exactly 10 days (7 business days). I suggest a checking as well....the everyday checking is free and doesn't require a minimum balance or deposit.
