Well, that was quick.

My first statement cut yesterday for my new Cash Rewards card, and I don't even have the card yet!

That was the easiest $0 balance reporting ever.

My walmart card was like that. Two weeks later I was already paying the bill and I hadnt even received the card yet. I has just applied during a transaction there.

It's happened to me with random cards. I believe my Cash+ statement cut like a week after I got it. Just seems to be that your first statement is not necessarily a full month after you got the card. Whatever date they chose for your closing date is what they chose, and if you happen to to recieve the card a week before the date or not even recieve it, regardless, the statement still closes.

Next month should be normal.
