I just became a nfcu member couple weeks ago and have extended my membership to one of my family members. I took him with my to the branch and he also became a member. Now, I encouraged him to apply for a NFCU CC. We live here in WA and they pull TU for the cc. Anyway, his CK score is 653 and income 47k. Now when applying for the cc, for the mortgage payment, isn't he suppose to put half of the mortgage payment since he splits it with his wife? Examples: mortgage is $1800 but he only contribute half of that. Would it affect the approval if he puts 1800 vs 900? He has no collections. No lates.
