So Joey has a FIco of 682 on EQ, and 665 on TU...
TU hasn't updated the CC balance, and EQ does.
Util is reporting at 26% on EQ..
Balances reporting on CR are approx 2900/NPSL Amex (this will be PIF before statement cuts on 5/8/12)
Chase is reporting as 1400/5000, this is 0 balance now, we are waiting til the CR updates
Discover is reporting a balance of 3k/4200 on TU but 989/4200 on EQ
I'm getting an expense reimbursement of 1200 tomorrow, was hoping that I would be able to get the balance on Discover down to 0 before it reports, but seems like it is reporting now, so I won't get to pay it to 0.
AAoA is 5 yrs.
So, Should Joey wait til Chase reports a 0 before he apps for NFCU Platinum or does he have a good shot now? He has no other loans currently outstanding, just these 3 CCs
He has a paid CO from 2010, fairly recent... The ex wife applied for this CC using his info in 2008 and bought her BOYFRIEND a motorcycle with the card.
He should have no issues getting but if you can wait the less than 30 days for update, might get a higher starting CL... probably worth wait.
I agree that approval shouldn't be an issue ~ with scores that high he should be fine.
I have no idea how they decide on CLs, some people get 10K+ from the start, other get less.....If you're not in a hurry, then just wait for the new balances to update then apply.
Their CC pulls are typically through EQ which is where your updated balances are it looks like. Maybe wait until TU updates just in case, but either way he should fine.
So that's the plan then... wait for Amex and Chase to update, then app
Cross fingers for EQ pull... EQ is his highest
