Not that I've ever used it or would use it, but I noticed that my cash advance limit on my two NFCU cards is now $12,500 on each which is half of the limit. I believe that it had always been the full 25k previously. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe I misread it before but I'm pretty sure it used to be the full credit limit.
Hmmmmm. I was worried for a minute. Just called NFCU and they said that effective November 2, 2015 they made a change that the cash advance limit would only be 50% of the available credit limit on all credit cards. Whew. My first sign of AA (I thought).
It's been discussed in a few threads before. Guess you missed them

Totally missed it.
My cash advance limit is only 30% of my CL but it has been than way since I opened my account in the middle of last month. I guess they started me early than Nov. 2.

Sorry to hear of your 30%. That's still more than most cards give you in cash advance limit.
Card companies really don't like you to use the cash advance feature anyway IMO. they tend to think you're living off the card when you continually do that.

Yeah I'm not really sweating it but I should have a 50% advance limit too. I sent them a message earlier this morning I'll report back when I hear from them.
