When I joined I remember I had 3 TU and 2 EQ HP's from them. Called the SCR and it was escalated, 2 HP from TU and 1 from REQ were removed. I only applied for their CC and a car loan. I checked and they did indeed remove the excess inqs. They had no clue why so many were pulled in 2 days.

I wonder if I should politely ask if they could remove the extra transunion? Maybe it wouldn't be worth it. Transunion is my problem report for inquiries. I have 3 from Cap 1/hsbc over one card which I have disputed over and over. Might not even be worth it to put myself through that again with what seems like a great company!
I signed up for the USAA CMS since I'm a member there anyway and it shows NFCU did a pull on TU for the membership but I was talking to the credit card guy on the phone and he said it should have been a SP. He also said they pull EQ for cards. He advised me to apply for the Platinum since I'm not all that concerned about rewards and it has the lowest APR. I'm not planning on using the card that much like I said before, only major usage will be on vacation then pay it off ASAP. Certainly not enough to earn any real amount of points. Maybe the cash rewards wouldn't be bad though. So since they have a place for notes on the app once it shows 0 bal on EQ I'll shoot them an ap and put someing in there about 0 util on the account. You guys are a vault full of info and it all helps alot. I've come pretty far in 1.5 years on my own but I've learned a lot more in the last few days from this forum just by reading posts!!
Just got off chat with CapOne. Statement generation date is the 26th of the month so that's when they update with the CRA'a. I'll wait until then since I want that util down before I ap for it. Also they are not doing CLI's at this time, at least for my card. Standard "You will receive a letter in 7 to 10 days" response.
