Go for it. Approved apps and cli are always Hp. You could get lucky since it is so recent, i would app over the phone to see if they can pull your recent inquiry.
Go for it! Last guy I told to go for it with scores similar to yours got a $7k CASH rewards card
They only did one HP for me and that was for both membership and CC application.
Even if you app after the 8th they may run an inq. Butthat is the only bad side of navy fed. And if you're gonna wait 6 months before app for another card you'll be fine. If you don't get the cl you want recon over the phone. I apped over the phone, the csr reps are very nice.
NFCU does a HP when you apply for membership, and then they'll most likely do another HP when you apply for a CC. I believe that when I joined I got a HP on EQ, and then when I applied for a CC I got a HP on TU. Or vice versa, I could have that backwards.
I'm pretty sure that if you apply for a CC you'll get another HP, but it will probably be worth it though since they're known to give out higher CL's. But as with everything, YMMV.
this is def ymmv thing and luck of the draw. some have reported joining and apping for multiple products under the same pull then you have me. i joined then same day mind you apped for cashrewards and was denied. later that night i apped for their secured nrewards. the result: 3 hps on transunion 2 hps on equifax

I was just hoping I could get enough movement on my Fico from paying off a 91% util card to 0 bal to get a higher limit. My Cap One due date for payment is on the 5th of the month and the statements are dated the 8th so I'm hoping I'm okay to wait until the Fico catches up with that then apply.
I agree I would wait but just know in my experience TU seems to take 10 days after the other CRA to update (they are soo slow). When I applied for membership they pulled TU, but when I applied for the cc they pulled TU again and EQ. There is a place to put notes on the application and I had told them that my EQ reflected a collection (now off!) that I was disputing. That could of been the reason for them pulling TU again, in addition to EQ.
Considering your card is maxed out, I agree about waiting since you paid it off. A lower limit or denial would be silly in this case when you could just wait a couple of weeks to be safe. They started me at $9000 when my highest limit (only a month old at the time) was only $3000 and my overall utility was around 18-20%. NFCU is super cool to work with
