I've been thinking doing this myself but I don't see myself using it and burning a inquiry, decision, decision
OP you have a shot so go for it...
Well logged onto account last night and they approved me for the requested $3000 CLI. I received an alert today that it was a hard pull but its OK. That was less than a 24 hr decision.

Congrats! Wait for 90 days to pass and then request $25k CLI. From the boards experience your next request should be SP up to your max. ymmv as always though.

I'll have Barclay at 6 months in August. I'm just curious with NFCU process. I'll hate to get a hard inquiry though. I think I'll chance the Nav check.
It will be a hard pull for either, so be prepared.
We were discharged almost the same month and its neat to see what you have done. Cograts
Well decided to apply for the Navcheck and I asked for $10k and got the " One hour process" and I got a text alert 10 minutes later that was approved, I should have ask for 15k . I'm very happy with NavyFCU.
Congrats....I did go ahead and open a seperate checking account. Maybe in a week or two I will apply for the Navcheck....I am hopeful but scared at the same time. At least you did get approved for the 10K.
Thanks guys...I wanted to hit for 15k to match my other credit card I have with them but I think I was pushing it, I could have ask for 15k but I'm okay with 10k for now.
Question guys, I though the Navcheck would be instant on the account but they will mail me documents for me to sign, also they're calling this product checking line of credit instead of overdraft protection.
