NFCU New Account Question (i.e. CLI)

My approval date for the NFCU Cash Rewards was 12/30/2012, for $5,000.00.  I've read others who request CLI immediately after; are they willing to do CLI's that quick?  Or are people who request CLI's after approval "typically" established members and call in versus requesting online?"

Re: NFCU New Account Question (i.e. CLI)

I waited a couple of months and went from 1.5k to 6k in one CLI. Since it's NFCU it will be a HP anyway.

I kind of figured that was the general rule-of-thumb; thanks for the feedback.  I was thinking six months.

Nothing.  I applied on 12-27-2012 and on 12-30 or 12-31 (I can't remember approximate date) I checked the status and it said, Approved for $5k.  I'm assuming your inquiring such as pay stubs, etc.?

Re: NFCU New Account Question (i.e. CLI)

I decided to go for it since some others suggested it.  I asked for 7k from 5k and got it in a matter of two hours.  I'll happily not request for a year.
