Is NFCU sensitive to new TL's? My boyfriend, who is also rebuilding his credit, has had a Cap1 BB Rewardzone card and the annual fee is in May. We want to replace this card with one from NFCU. However, I added him as an AU on a few new accounts of mine (2 stores, 1 CC) and he also financed a car a few months ago.
We want to establish a relationship through them, as we plan to use them when we buy a house. His income is ~$70k (not counting any furloughs that may happen!!!). His FICO's are about the same as mine (+/- 10 with about the same average).

Awesome!
I don't know if he could handle a rejection. LOL. We've been doing so good with approvals.
I will probably wait until next month, he has to unfreeze his accounts anyways. Maybe put a deposit into our account with them to butter them up.

Well, funny enough I logged into the account and there was a banner that he has been pre-selected for cash rewards. Good sign!

In my recent experience, they are not new account sensitive, they aren't inquiry sensitive.
If he wants an NFCU account, there is not a good reason to wait in my opinion...
Congrats!!!
Also, consider getting the overdraft LOC, its nice, counts as revolving... and it comes with its own checkbook in case the merchant doesn't take credit cards.
