Well the postman brought my NFCU Flagship Rewards card today. I must say I really like seeing the "Signature" under the Visa logo. It came just in time for my trip to Kosrae Saturday, no FTF with the Signature version of the card. My only other card with no FTF was my Discover which the dive operators and hotel do not take. So this card just saved me 3%.
I drapped for the Platinum card Friday night and got "in Process" until I called yesterday. I spent 20 minutes on several different holds with the Amex rep who said my application was stuck in limbo for the Platinum card with no AF the first year. She came back with, "I am sorry....to keep you waiting, but it was worth your wait. Congratulations on expanding your Amex relationship with us, the Platinum is our finest card......don't remember the rest as I was picking myself up of the floor. To be honest I was so stunned, I even asked what my limit was! HAHA. I assume I got the card with the same EX score of 653 that I had when I received my Hilton Honors card just a few days before.
I seriously think I am done. Here is an updated list of my cards:
