When does the card start reporting?  First statement?

Yes that is how it worked for me. It reported right after the first statement cut.

To become an NFCU member you can either be active duty or retired in the military... or you can have a family member who is an NFCU member who can sponsor you. My husband joined while he was active duty in the marine Corp... I joined through him sponsoring me.

FYI, I misread my CRs.  NFCU pulled TU for membership and EQ for cashRewards card.

I am in the same place as you were. My grandfather was in the Air Force during the Korean War and My wifes Grandfather was in the Army for WWII with a medical discharge. They keep asking me about DOD benefits and that VA benefits are not eligible?? Ahhh any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Dexter what happened after you received that message? I got the same message today with a 10k limit but just like you the interest rate and type of card was blank. Did your card just Arrive in the 7-10 days? It hasn't appeared in my account list yet so I'm getting paranoid!
