Re: NFCU gave me an nRewards Visa

Super Congrats kball!!! :smileyhappy:

Navy Federal is a fantastic credit union
and a $2,000 credit limit will get you started
with them quite nicely. You must be very proud. :smileyhappy:

I got my nRewards Visa and Mastercard last month as well...
a 2k limit on each just like you. If we take good care of our cards
NFCU will take good care of us. We can ask for a CLI every 6 months,
so pay early (worst case, on time) and everything will be fine. :smileyhappy:

Once again, Congratulations on your new nRewards Visa! :smileyvery-happy:

k........congrats.

Why not apply for their nRewards MC as well? Thing is, it'll cost you another hard pull. But worth it, IMO.

Re: NFCU gave me an nRewards Visa

Thanks everyone.  The last time I applied with them was 3 mths ago and I was declined.  So this time I sent a message right after I app'd and did a "pre recon".  I knew they would pull EQ and even though my score is about 50 pts higher than it was 3 mths ago, it's still pretty low.

I think the VISA is ok for now and I'm not going to push it by applying for anything else with them.  I have a question about getting rid of a secured card but I'm going to start a new thread for that.

Thanks again everyone for your well wishes.  I'm finally feeling like I'm on the right path again.
