NFCU goRewards offer

I received a pre-approval offer from NFCU for the goRewards CC. I am not really impressed with the card, as I primarily use Chase United and Chase Sapphire. However the main benefit would be to raise my total credit limit, improve Util, and thus improving my score. Should I apply, delay, or pass on it?

My scores for the month are:

EQ: 654

EX:  657

TU: 624

Re: NFCU goRewards offer

I have the GoRewards visa. It's not a bad card. No forex fees (I guess you get that with the UA card), no annual fee, great bonus point opportunities via member mall. For instance, ebags was offering 10 points/$1 spent. I bought a new rollaboard for $149 and earned 1400 points! And right now I'm earning 3 points/$1 spent on restaurants/fast food until the end of the year. Plus, you support US jobs when calling their phone support.

Re: NFCU goRewards offer

I applied for it today. It said it would take 24 hours to review. I expect it to take a little longer due to a fraud report \ ID verification.

Re: NFCU goRewards offer

My son go the pre approval in the mail , After reading this thread I  had him apply, figured 500.00 limited was better than nothing since he is rebuilding. His EQ 08 is 637 but they pulled TU and I have no idea what his score is for TU. approved instantly for 2,000.00.

At first we couldnt get a credit one pre-approval for 3 months , he has a 300 limit now and AU on 2 of my cards so we are doing something right :-) It was all neg before.
