NFCU - membership requirements - Mother on Navy pension

Does anyone know if my mother would be eligible (and subseqently I am eligible) to join Navy Federal Credit Union?  My father was KIA in my mother is on Navy pension and is a miltary card carrying.

I'm  very sorry about your father.  I've looked and can't find any information about survivor eligibility   Your best bet is to call NFCU.  They have very good CSRs and can give you guidance.  I wish you the best of luck.

Sorry to hear about your father. We here salute your father for his service and sacrifice.

your mother's current, valid military card should be enough for her to be able to join NFCU and therefore you as well.

Yes, she is eligible. The base ID card is all she needs as proof of eligibility.

Many thanks for the kind words.  I spoke to a CSR and they said we are eligible, there is a branch just a few miles away.  We will go in and join.  Thanks again.
