FYI: I just got a mailing from NFCU offering 3.9% BT through Feb 28, 2011. It is an oversized postcard.
I have family/friends that have gotten the same mailing, but with offers for 4.9% and 5.9%, so evidently the BT rate is based upon some credit factor, because the BT rate isn't just one rate like PenFed and other ccc's.
I got the 5.9% offer.
4.9% here...
Now I just have to find another no fee offer from another card so I can get the current balance off and put back onto the BT rate! Man I can't wait until I no longer have balances to BT!
balance transfer...its not ignorance at least you are to know

I got the 4.9% and DH got 5.9%. His actual FICO EQ is higher than mine, but his file is a little thinner. Same thing when Discover offers us BTs...sometimes his offer is 3.9 to my 5.9, and last offer mine was 3.9 and his was 9.9. Guess "only the shadow knows"!!
What I don't like is now anyone who has handeled my mail or whatknot now knows I have a NFCU credit card... GRRR.. can't they put those things in privacy envelopes!?
Well... I transfered my $425 USAA credit card to my NFCU for a 3.9% BT rate...
