Strange, NFCU says as of 9/5/17 my FICO 9 is "779".

I pulled myfico EQ report today 9/5/17 FICO 9 is "754".

25 point difference.

Explain that one.

where did you pull from - MF?

was it a FRESH pull, or what MF was currently showing, if you used MF?

I just check my FICO9 score on NFCU. It was 795 as of 09/05/17.

My FICO9 score on PenFed is shown as 711 as of 05/31/17. I wish PenFed would update it.

Yes, as I said myfico. And yes, it was a fresh pull as I indicated in my post the dates of both.
