Are the offers customer driven?
Here is why I ask:
So, I was on the phone with NFCU asking for some help to locate their direct deposit form that I need to give to my employer. The CSR asked if I was interested in any of their other products while I was on the phone.
I told her that I was thinking about a refi on my car but I wanted to wait until I have my Direct Deposit set up before I apply with them.
I return to my computer, log into my NFCU account......... I get a pop up on my screen that tells me I am pre approved for a auto refi.
Do they key in our interest in their products for the pop up offers????
What are your thoughts?
If so..............Do other banks do this also?
