NFCU-should I app for another?

I got my membership a week ago, and the cash rewards with a 14,000 CL.

Should I app for the Flagship now or go into the garden for a while? My EQ is now a 705 and my TU is a 715.

I have 10 inq's now. I'm wondering if my score will drop with the new account and extra inq once it reports or if it'll go up(due to such a high CL).
I also got the care credit of $6000 CL. So that's another new account.

So, should I app for the flagship now or should I wait? I don't want my score taking a dive and not sure if I should garden now or take another inq and new account at the same time as the other new accounts.

The care credit is going to be maxed out on Monday.

Also, if I add another new CC will that drop my score bc ill now have an extra 3 accounts?

Your score will drop a dab from the inquiry's and then when the new accounts hit it might take a small ding becuase it changes your Age of accounts but will rebound quickly. I would do it before the maxed out one reports though so it dont show.  I think its cute, we had to almost drag you to the NFCU join button and look at you now!!  Wanting more!!  I think its great! NFCU is amazing and I am wondering if I should go for the cash rewards card as well or wait it out a bit as well. Hopefully some one can answer us :-)

Re: NFCU-should I app for another?

If you apply and are denied, you can move some credit line from your cash rewards to get a Flagship (min of $5k). Or...you could try for a CLI for your cash rewards and move a min of $5k to open up a Flagship.

CLI would be a toss up, who knows. To transfer $5k to make a flagship there would be no HP Smiley Happy

Re: NFCU-should I app for another?

Lol @ ktl ...u never had to drag me! I was biting my nails off for a month waiting until I could App! I was waiting for my score to boost and I paid down my CC's. it paid off too! Smiley Happy

I just don't know if it's smarter to app for another card now or garden and then do it. I don't know if it's better to take the hits all at once or wait.

Re: NFCU-should I app for another?

Can they use the same HP from my app for the cash rewards if I app for the flagship?

Re: NFCU-should I app for another?

I guess what I'm asking is...will it be better for my score to only have the 2 new accounts (cash rewards and care credit) and wait to app for the flagship or would it be better to have all 3 new accounts at once

I know for sure that they will not use the same app.  As you have seen before NFCU is HP crazy!

I guess it would depend on what you want to do six months to a year from now.  If you don't have any reason to have a higher score, then it may be good to just go ahead and app now and take the dings to your credit score and garden for a year.  I apped like crazy in April, yes I did take a hit to my score, but I'm also gardening now and I'm not planning to buy a house or anything in the next year.
