So, you're saying Penfed is better than Navy Federal Credit Union? Or are these the top two as in credit unions?

PenFed is easier to join than NFCU is, but PenFed tends to be far more conservative with regard to its lending standards than NFCU. They (PenFed)  also aren't the most customer service centered organization in the world.

 

In my experience (YMMV), PenFed is exceedingly difficult to work with. I ditched them for NFCU some time ago and have never regretted making the switch.
