I just opened a NCFU checking/savings account. After reading so many great things about them, thought I should go ahead and take the plunge. My question: when should I apply for their credit card. I haven't even received any paperwork or online access yet. I did check my reports today and they SP'd EQ for the account opening 2 times. Weird. Everything I've read about them says that they should have HP'd me for the account opening. All I've received so far is an email asking for ss# verification and a copy of my ID which I responded to today. Thanks for your help.
Go for it.
With those scores, go for it. I just got approved today and my scores would have to be about 100 points lower than yours. I stopped using my checking account with them in Jan and they charged off a negative balance. I had no idea it was and I figured I'd get a letter that I got an OD but never did so thought it was fine.
Anyway you'll get it.
Go for it! Don't wait. Apply via phone. (they are 24 hours by phone)
Thanks! Really? I don't even know my account number yet. I will hit them up in the morning then. . Which card do you recommend? Is the Flagship worth the AF? I've been looking for a no foreign exchange fee card to use overseas.
If you travel, I've heard good things about the flagship. Otherwise, Cashrewards is really popular.
What cards and limits do you have now?
