@ Webhopper... Thanks! I'm going for it in the AM. Feel weird about it because I have nothing but a welcome email.
. Still going to go for it. LOL

I am betting on 25-30ishk line. Since I am not eligible for membership, I have to rely on memory. I believe only their flagship product has no ft and has small af. In terms of rewards, their cards are strictly average. But they are nice to deal with and generous lending standards are what make theyinteresting.

I've never seen higher than 25k on initial approval... so I'm going to bet on 25k!
My pre-approval for my cashRewards card was made after I'd already sent them investment account statements, bank statements, checking and savings, pay stubs. They knew I had plenty of cash in savings when they gave me a card. When I applied for the card, my checking account balance was 19k
I think that's where the manual review that NFCU does is superior to any other lender. As you can see, none of my other cards even come close to touching my NFCU limit

It seems odd to me that you didn't get your online account setup right away. I was signed in within minutes of opening the account. I applied within a few hours for my CC online. I did have to call a rep to get my online access straightened out (I had it setup and must have messed it up somewhere along the line), but the call was quick and the rep was super helpful.
