NFCU offers both points and cash rewards cards.

As far as eligibility, that would depend on your credit scores.

FICO 04 scores: 809 (EQ) 812 (EX) 818 (TU)

Amex Platinum NPSL - Citi HHonors Sig. $58k - BMW Ultimate $40k
Chase Sapphire Preferred $62k - Merrill Lynch + Signature $41k - USAA Rate Advantage $28k
NFCU Flagship Signature $50k - USAA Cash Rewards AMEX $28k

-Yes you can. I have been earning tons of points paying bills

-It all depends on whats on your CR and your interest (Travel, cash rewards, etc.). I've have seen approvals from as low as 560'sh (Thick file). If you are denied, NFCU will counter with a card that will fit your profile (Low limit or secure). YMMV and good luck!
