Re: NYC to Dubai Using Points

I should clarify I haven't booked. I would like to, looking at January 2016. Just wondering whether I should buy tickets or if there are good redemption options with points

virgin america to emirates is probably your best bet. Its around 80k for business. I have not flown that route before but thats probably the least amount of miles required.

Re: NYC to Dubai Using Points

Gotcha. I've been able to find round trip tickets as low as 640 bucks, so just trying to figure out if there's a better alternative

if you are going to use points i wouldn't use them for anything below business class for international flights , but thats just my opinion.

Re: NYC to Dubai Using Points

No I appreciate your thoughts, for sure. There is a Four Seasons Sheraton in Dubai that I read good reviews on. Would cost me 3500 points plus 55 bucks a night, and I have a stash of spg points so I'm considering it since I'd like to travel there
