I requested an APR reduction from my previous 16.xx% to their minimum 9.65%. The countered by moving it to 11.65%! I'm happy with that as it is now my second lowest APR, and my lowest non SCRA APR! Hopefully next year i'll get it down that last 2%

I got my own Navy Fed card back in November with an old CO still on my reports; it drops off in a few months, so hopefully once my account is a year old I'll have the same luck you've had!
