That was before I knew you could recon anything. I asked the rep on the phone and he was like "Nope, but I can mail you another application so you can apply for it over the mail instead of online and you might have better luck getting approved". Yeah, right.

Good luck with the NFCU application though! They did give me the 3-5 day message on my card as well, took them.. I think 3 or 4 days. If I had to get a secured card, I'd definitely go with the nRewards secured. I did actually consider it to give myself an artifically high limit on a card. But after recalculating what I'll owe in taxes this year, not happening.

Nice! At least you have a foot in the door with their lending department now. Now comes the card part, being patient and waiting for a CLI or for it to unsecure

@rootpooty Same here, but it's still there just not available for you to spend.  I must say NFCU moves pretty fast.  Did you request express delivery?  I will let you know how "Express" they really are once I recieve the card.

@AndyK  LOL I agree. Now its time to show them that I am a model consumer that know how to handle credit.... At least with them mainly and the rest of my creditors will fall in line to over time!

No I didn't order express delivery I was just told this morning that my card will ship Monday and that I will get it within 7-10 business days. I have a good feeling about navy federal they are always extremely nice to me when I call them so hopefully this is my opportunity to build a strong credit

I received my card today!!!! It was delivered by FedEx.  It took all of 6 days total for the complete process.

I was hoping I was gonna receive my card yesterday so I could do some shopping with it for friday. I didn't get express delivery so when you posted this yesterday lol I knew I wasn't going to get it yesterday. Hopefully ill get it by Saturday.

Nope sure don't. Going on business day number 8 since they shipped it. It took bofa 3 1/2 weeks to get me my card once they took the 300 from my account so hopefully navy federal does better
