I thought:  I should do that.  Then:  No, I'll wait.  Then:  I couldn't stand the thought of missing out.  The worst that can happen is I'll be told "No."

 

So I applied online for a NFCU Platinum card and I got a message saying it takes 3-5 days to process.  I wonder if this is because it's Saturday afternoon and not exactly business hours.  An instant approval would have been nice, but I guess this is better than an instant decline (do they even give those out?)

Too many accounts; too many debts; lots of open credit, and lots of utilized credit. Scores somewhere in the 600s - I have no earthly idea exactly what number, but not 700 like it was, briefly.

I seem to remember a lot of people who got that message ending up approved. YMMV

 

I have never had an instant approval from applying online, but when I've applied over the phone it has always been an instant OK.  You never know with Navy!  Smiley Happy
