So i have a trip this summer to New York which i will use my AAdvantage miles on, but I also wanted to snatch a good hotel signup bonus that i could potentially use to get a couple free nights while i am out there.
I was going to apply for the Ritz offer this friday, but sadly it has expired (The moment it came out i was hoping that it would not end by the time i was able to apply, but
Unfortunately it did..)
What would be my best option right now? whats the best deal out there currently?
I am planning on staying there 3-4 nights..
Well, the Marriott Rewards card is a baby Ritz card, works at the same hotels. 1 free night (in certain categories) plus 50,000 points. This would be the obvious fallback if you were getting the Ritz to go with Marriott-family hotels.
The Hyatt card has a smaller spend requirement and you get 2 nights in any category hotel, no bonus points on the signup.
If you are preapproved, 50k for amex PRG after 1k in 3 months

What does the exchange ratio work out to for hotel points programs?
1:1 to HHonors points and 3:1 Starpoints
inb4 Nixon gives his usual recommendation.

If it comes with 1 free night what are the 50k bonus points get me? could they be used for night stays?

I'm currently an Amex card holder, I don't think i would be qualified for such bonus, all Amex offers me on their website is the standard 25k i beleive.

Which is my usual?
Best bonus out there right now $ vs pts is US Airways 50K miles with first purchase and first AF, minus $25 statement credit for paperless enrollment.

That is the one albeit a great recommendation at that.
