Need a higher-CL card

Ok, i need help all you lovely strategists. Here's my current situation.

EQ = 630 TU = 650 EX = 650

Cap1 $750 cap1 miles $750 bofa ungraduated = 500 orchard bank = $400.

Ok, how can i get a card i can actually charge a flight/hotel to? These cards are great,  but it's too easy to go over that 50%  on all of them. What do you suggest i do?

edit: this post was split off from the Tough Love - Cool Your Jets thread. I gave it a new titled, but nothing else has been changed.

Join a CU. Most of them (at least the national ones) pull EQ.

I agree with CA

Definitely increase your funds in the BofA card. It will unsecure in 9 months.

You will receive your money back and will havea higher credit limit.

How long have you had your B of A card?

Unfortunately with those scores, it will be hard to receive high credit lines.

Re: Need a higher-CL card

I don't know what effect Chase has had on the the Wamu cards, but I was able to get one with a $2500 limit with a 645 score in October which was just over 2 years after my BK, it may depend on what's on your credit report, I haven't had any baddies since the BK.

Also I had a Cap1 card with a $500 limit and applied for a second and got $2000 a little over a year ago,  I called them up last month and asked them if they could combine the cards and they said no problem, so now I have one card with a $2500 limit.Depending on how much you need that may be an option.
