I'm glad I didn't burn AmEx.. though if I had an account years ago, having the option to pay it off and have a lot more years to backdate would be pretty nice..... ><

+10K!    I wouldn't do it even if it were guaranteed I would get a card, but without that, no way!   You can certainly do fine without an Amex.

 

Unless guilt is eating at you.  In which case send me $5K and you will feel better.  Honest.  (well, not quite honest)

Yeah, Amex will be my saving grace when my student loan falls off the record. And yeah I'm being optimistic saying "when" and not "if Smiley Happy
